My wife and I met Susan at an Open House that she was hosting. We were not looking for an agent at that time. After listening to Susan give a few words on the house, she suggested we look for ourselves and she offered any assistance should we have any questions. We liked her style as we appreciated that she didn't follow us around the house and try to tell us all the great things about the house. We could see for ourselves what we liked or didn't like. We didn't particularly like this house, but we were later intrigued by Susan. We asked her about her background as an agent. We liked and appreciated her directness. We are all busy and the last thing we need is an agent wasting our time or us wasting theirs as well. We left the open house to go see another open house followed by lunch. At this point in our house search we had already seen about 25 homes on our own. During lunch my wife and I talked about agents in general and couldn't help, but discuss our recent conversation with Susan. Her knowledge of the market, and her eagerness (but not pushiness) to help assist in finding a home. She seemed to listen very well about what we were looking and not looking for. We later that day went back to the open house and asked Susan to represent us. That day was July 22. with the weeks following Susan helped secure various viewings of homes. Homes which were narrowed down with our prior input. Many of the viewings she had already gone to see on her own so that she was confident that the home was in the realm of what we were asking for. With Susan's help, my wife and I were able to find a home and moved in Sept 6th. Susan was very prompt and thorough with the contracts. She was able to have thoughtful conversations on pricing and negotiations. We would see her as a true asset in a home search. We only bought a home with Susan, but we can say without a doubt that she would bring the same determination to listing a home as she did to our buying process. Having seen close to over 50 homes during open houses, Susan presents herself to prospective clients with class and expertise. Should we decide to sell our home in the future, we will not hesitate to have Susan list the home for us. We know we will be in good hands.
